Editorial Policy

This page explains how CredHunt keeps credit-card content accurate, understandable, and useful. The short version: we verify, we explain, and we correct quickly when product details change.

Verification standard

We verify card details against issuer documents and official product pages before publishing or refreshing a card profile.

Update cadence

We revisit key pages whenever issuers change fees, rewards, lounge access, or eligibility rules, and we prefer to update the page itself rather than hide the change behind a redirect.

Editorial independence

Commercial relationships do not decide page rankings. We separate application links from editorial summaries and keep comparison language grounded in product facts.

Conflict handling

If a page cannot be validated or the data appears incomplete, we would rather hold the update, mark it clearly, or remove it from indexing than publish a misleading summary.

What readers can expect

  • Card comparisons that explain fees, rewards, and benefits in plain language.
  • Visible canonical URLs so Google and readers land on the primary page, not a duplicate variant.
  • Utility pages such as search and compare kept discoverable when they are meant to be public.
  • Removal or correction of placeholder content when a page is not yet ready to stand on its own.
